Manual SMS conversations
The Messages page shows SMS conversations linked to contacts. Operators can reply manually to SMS conversations and can attach supported files. Messages support:- Inbound and outbound SMS history.
- Manual operator replies.
- Attachments, including images and documents.
- Delivery status.
- Pausing or resuming AI automation for a conversation.
AI SMS add-on
AI SMS lets the receptionist respond to inbound text conversations using the same business context used for calls. SMS compliance
Hosted AI SMS uses A2P 10DLC compliance setup. In Settings > Billing, the SMS compliance section collects business identity, contact, address, campaign, sample message, and opt-in information. Until hosted SMS compliance is approved, routing may stay on a shared alert sender and AI SMS may remain blocked.Opt-out handling
